Manufacturing quality assurance and control is maintained in the factory by an engineering staff with a combined experience of over 75 years in production and product management. Mammoth’s extruded-through-the-weave extruded-through-the-weave hose is produced in continuous 660 foot lengths, with couplings attached at the factory. Each 660 foot length will carry a unique serial number and date of manufacture. Serial numbers will be maintained in a permanent data bank together with a record of all factory conditions on that date that are pertinent to the manufacturing process.
The continuous scrutiny by the factory’s quality control staff during the manufacturing process insures that Mammoth hose will exceed expectations. As added assurance, Mammoth tests its hose at the factory using internationally accepted AQL inspection levels and sampling. Although Inspection Level II is considered the norm, Mammoth uses Level III standards, which employs 60% more samples than Level II. Level III is the most stringent of the AQL protocols. The samples selected under the Level III protocol will be tested with fittings at the max rated working pressure of 200psi for a minimum of four hours. All testing video will be supplied to purchaser upon delivery.
With couplings attached, the entire 660 foot section of hose will be tested at max working pressure.
From AQL Level III testing to shipping with couplings attached, Mammoth Lay Flat Hose is ready for immediate field use.
Elongation Rate for all Mammoth Lay Flat Hose is less than 1%
